Sorry BJ, didn't see this until now. Likewise, I've spent much time in those places in my 20s (except Manteo, although we hit up the aquarium there this year for the kids), but the last 6 years we've stayed in either Corolla or Duck. This year was Duck (although I'm back now :( ).

aahhh vater... just saw you profile.. am older!!!!! boohooo!!! but am happy to report I survived BGE... was not able to do Lochness M. though... the knee did not let me :(

For the record, I am not vacationing in OBX anymore. That would be one long, amazing vacation. Though I did vacation in OBX again in June of 2012. So for that week, this status was again valid. Kind of like a stopped clock being correct twice a day.

Life is still good, though.
