Thanks for the net advice. But really DFN, don't let youtube comments get you down. It's just youtube. Most people there are either trolls, or just jealous and trying to get under your skin.

You could have just disabled comments. Just because people are being stupid doesn't mean you have to take your video down. I already know a LOT of people enjoyed them. Feel free to post them here if you want.

The comments won't get any better with YT...people are still not going to read the descriptions and say dumb stuff like "Where are the cheetahs"

I'd love for you to learn No Limits as well, and I think you could do really well with it, but I'd never want you to give up on RCT3 and loose the ability to make parks and themeing. Building coasters is nice and all, but it isn't the ONLY thing. You've got a real gift, and it would be a real pity to not have you use it to your full potential because a few commenter got under your skin.

I know this is going to sound weird to you, but believe me that you are valuable even if you never make another RCT3 creation again, and you have value because of who you ARE not because of what you DO, and I know I'm not the only one that feels that way.

NL takes time. Gotta learn how to hand build and draw out good looking supports, then you should learn how to use Newton 2 or just master hand building. Long process, just fore warning you. Fun but need a lot of patience.

shadows coaster nets i had to delete the video due to all the negativity on yt so im leaving rct3 for good. So if anyone wants to help me learn NL It be greatly appreciated.

Are you really going to stop playing RCT3 just because of a couple of bad comments? seriously? RCT3 is a hobby/game and I think it's sad that you are going to let others influence you like that. What a shame

Seriously, did you not read any of my comments? You are spactacular at RCT3! Those youtube freaks don't know what the Posted Image they're talking about half the time and I almost guarantee that most of them are trolls. If you want real responses to your work, do so here or at an RCT3 site. Don't rely on youtube for any constructive criticism.

Press K in the simulator to take a screenshot. Press H when you're in the sim to see what key starts/stops video; I forgot which it is. Click on a track node for the handles to appear. Manipulate each side of the handle by dragging them to the direction you please. You'll have to go in various views (Top, Right side, front, etc.) to get the trqck going in the direction you want it.

^Too soon, Mike. And he's not ignoring anything, he's just branching out into new areas. Oh, and DFN....I think Mike is just scared of the competition of you start up NL and are good at it. :)

NL is a whole new ballpark from RCT3: just because you're good at RCT3 doesn't necessarily mean you'll be a hot-shot at NL. I drew A LOT more fire for my NL work than my RCT3. If you're planning on using NL to fight off some trolls, chances are you're going to be beaten up much, much worse.

And although this has been said, I'm going to say this again: it's youtube. You're looking at a potential viewer base of pretty much everyone who has access to a computer with internet. That means if Hitler somehow got reincarnated he could be commenting on your video, too. Which also means: if Hitler disliked your video/or said something bad about you (let's not go there), there wouldn't be a need to throw a fit because he's a madman. Then we have the trolls, who like to scare people like you. They're worse than madmen because they're sadists: they like to comment badly on your thread because they like how you shrivel up like a raisin. Don't give them the satisfaction then.

Really, stay in RCT3. NL is... in my opinion, not the best way to avoid negative comments.

I agree with SS, and I can tell you that theming in NL is a pain because you have to make EVERYTHING except trees. The terraformer can take a while to get used to, although I haven't really made a terraformed ride before. But once you get used to making tracks you could probably move up to Newton 2. You did amazing RCT3 work, so if you could do both RCT3 and NL, that would be awesome.

NoLimits is a scary place. Trust me, I designed a lot of sucky rides and got hammered. But if you're up to it, go for it.

At first glance, it looks pretty solid to me. If you want real feedback though, send it to Tyler Carlton and/or Kevin Dice. They'll "ride" it for you as well as look at what you've done and give you any pointers if you need them. Feel free to shoot either of them a PM if you have any questions too.

Uhhh... Daniel, that woodie's in RCT3, not NL. Posted Image

On the other hand, DFN, I'm glad that you haven't chosen to let RCT3 go. It looks strong for a starter. I can't wait until you support it!

BTW check out DasMatze's new mod for the supports.

Very nice! The use of the terrain is awesome here. It was really hard to tell how majestic it was from the overhead view, but I really like it now that I've seen an up-close view of it. Keep up the good work.

PS--Watch out for the pigeons at work :P
