^Needs to go revive my HSR thread... O_O

By the way, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with your current theme. I'm merely saying it's lacking because there are too many "gaps".

Looks pretty nice so far. I'm guessing another launch is coming up after those brakes? Also, is it safe to assume that you'll be putting a custom spine on it since you're running the 2 tube track? And is that a custom cartexture that I see?

Yes, there will be a custom spine, and tunnels. The station will be at ground level, and there will be a few cliffs and canyons that the track will be above ground in. I'm going to make underground rooms with 'Easter eggs' like colder fusion. The car texture that's on it right now is just one of ones in my cartexture folder. I plan on making one though. I've already discovered a massive pump in the first turn immediately after the launch, but I like what I have, and I don't want to redo it.

I'm making the dark ride section tonight.

Edit:
Newton 2 crashed. I was trying to view the calculus graph for the roll values of a multi-zone section. It was mostly straight and curved geometry sections, so I should be able to make them close to the way I had them. Luckily, I didn't lose a bunch of tediously built multi-zone work...

Suggestion to Entropy: Build auto save and crash recovery features into Newton 3.

Wait till RCT3 crashes on you. That's always fun.

Forgive me, but how long does it take to code a piece of multi-zone track?

It depends. Sometimes you get lucky and the numbers you throw at it work out in just a few minutes. Other times, usually with more complex elements it can be a real pain in the rear to get correct and can take a few hours to get to the point where you want it.

I usually do 1 single multi zone force section from the lift/launch to the mcbr.
It took me about an hour and a half to do the first section of my ride, launch to first mcbr.

I've started on the landscape. I added a few effects to my POV video...

Heck, I'd ride it like that.
Great work so far. I can't wait to see it done with everything.

I'm in the process of opening the 3d terrain object in sketchup. I have several tunnels that come very close to eachother under ground. In those places, there will be large concrete rooms. My goal for the whole ride is to enhance the sense of speed. A ride too open will seem slow and boring, and a ride completely in a tunnel will seem boring. I'm going to try to break up the longest tunnel sections with some colder fusion-like rooms. Except for the supports not being there, this is where the track becomes ride able. There's no smashing into the ground at the beginning of each tunnel.

I'm not too big on the series of underground launches in the middle of the ride quite yet. However, knowing you I'm sure there will be some cool theming to spice that section up a bit.

Yeah, it's very boring right now. I want to play a movie for the riders. I know that you can't make your object textures movies, but I can do the next best thing. A flip book. As the riders move through the 3d objects, a new frame of the movie will be revealed to them.

Oh nice, that sounds like a great idea. It kind of reminds me of stuff like the Winnie the Pooh ride at Disney and the Dr Seuss ride at IoA.

I'm working on a semi-unrealistic Premiere Rides Lim Launched Terrain Coaster.

Probably one the weirdest coasters I've seen, gonna have to ride to see if I like it or not. Colors are a bit iffy though, and I assume the prefabs are temporary.

Well that looks interesting, but I like it. Definitely something different, and from what I can see it looks like you've executed it pretty well. Looking forward to seeing more for sure.
