T-shirts are finished! They are also going to be as cheap as $10!!! But before we order, we need all of you to pre-order yours now! Either PM Devin, or email him to pre-order your official C-net T-shirt.

Thank you, and make sure to get a shirt!

Well, this is where you and anyone else who wants their shirt comes in. We need 50 pre-orders to print t-shirts. if we don't get 50, we don't print. So if you want the shirts to be printed, you want people to pre-order.

The shipping will be free and I will ask Devin on how we will handle the money.

Right now I have 10 people:

Just announcing that you can pay any way you want, whether it be PayPal, check, cash, etc.

I highly recommend any staff and elders to buy a shirt, as we still need 41 more till printing.

Just bringing this topic back up. We've got a slightly new design that a few of you may like more than the old design. We'll need your input on design and then, once you think the quality meets your standards, we'll start the pre-ordering up again. Again, the design is still a work in progress, so please see it as such, we just think we're at a point were we need to bring you into the process and make sure that we're designing something that is what YOU want and meets your expectations.

I'll have CPF post the designs here later today.

Make sure and use a variety of coasters in the designs. That way, we don't seem like a site filled with Cedar Poing fanbots. :P

once we get more pics for our galleries, we can. Right now our highest resolution, best quality pics are from Devin and Carsten (and a maybe a few others) in their recent trips to CP.

Alright, I'm not naming names, but some criticisms I've heard so far when talking to people (none of these are from me):

1) Don't use yellow font
2) The font is too small
3) There are too many words
4) The coaster design on the back is too big
5) The design is not "simple" enough for someone to get the message at-a-glance
6) The design looks "amateurish" (don't ask me what that means, just quoting someone)
7) The logo on the front should be larger

I will say that I know you are working hard, CPF. Keep up the good work, and hopefully our design will get to a point where it meets our price point soon.

Yeah, I know what the word means, just there were no specifics in the statement to say what made them say it looked "amateurish." I do actually know how to use a dictionary, but thanks for the definition for the others who needed it.

What is the resolution needed for these pictures? I'd like to know for future reference (especially when I go to KI so I can set up my camera to take appropriate shots).

Something I'd like to request, especially for staff going to parks on official business and anyone who wants to be a tad more formal, are polo shirts with the site logo over the heart.

I've thought about that BeastFan. I'll cover the specifics of that in the Staff area since that would possibly be something specifically for staff.

As for the resolution, I'll have to get that from Devin or maybe CPF can answer (as Devin told him what was needed).

I think CPF mentioned in the chat that it was 2000x2000.

And I like the first version better without the gray border.

That's right. The issue is that most of the old pictures have been resized before uploading to 600x400. Only recently has Matt said that we can upload images at full resolution. Most of those recent pictures were from Devin's and Carsten's recent trips to CP, thought there may be some KI and KD pics, however, I don't know of any pics from any Six Flags parks so those of you that think we just love Cedar Fair parks, I assure you it is just the number and quality of pictures available for us to choose from (since the majority of our staff members have KD, CP, and KI as their homeparks). We can always make additional designs later, but for now, we have to go with what we have to work with.

Man I need to find time to get FTP set up. If you haven't already, you should look through my photo-albums on facebook. Like 6 of theme are dedicated to different theme parks.

I'll have to look, but I assume we're going to have similar issues, because FB lowers the resolution when you upload pics in order to save space on their servers (at least they did for a long time). The best resolution will always come from the memory card, camera, or the copy you saved on your hard drive. Copies saved to CD or DVD may have the same issue depending on the software you use to burn the pics to the CD or DVD.

Anyway, I'll work with you more on this some evening this week or this weekend, CoasterCrazy.

EVERYONE KEEP THE IDEAS COMING. If you have specific ideas on how to improve the design, now is your time to say something.
