While wasting time on Screamscape the other day I came across this interesting installment...
Mack Rides - (11/4/09) I'm not sure what this track is for, check out this picture that was apparently was taken at the Mack Ride's manufacturing area, and shows off a few pieces of yellow coaster track that look very similar to the style they used on Blue Fire. Anyone know what this might be for? Do we have another launched Mack coaster on our hands somewhere?

It's worth pointing out that Mack Rides also uses the 3-tube track profile on their E-Motion Tipping coaster, not just their launch coaster.
Either way, this could be big news for the coaster world. Might this track come overseas? Where could this ride be headed?

Hmm! Shiny new coaster track. Can't wait to find out what it is!
It would be great to have a mack launch in the US, even better in the midwest near me

I agree. Imagine something like Blue Fire in your home park. That would be cool. But, granted it stays in the US, what park would add a possible launch coaster to their parks. I can guess a few things. 1: BGE needs something to fill the space (coaster-wise as well as land-wise) left by The Big Bad Wolf (RIP, by the way). 2: Cedar Point has a few motives to add a new coaster. To compete with SFMM, and because they are overdue. 3: Knott's is way overdue and is in need of a coaster before it get's completely overshadowed by other parks. *4: I don't think that Six Flags INC can afford an extremely expensive ride right now, and they'll probobly be back to adding things like that in a few more years, but not now. Tell me what you think of these possibilities, and add your own

1. Can't see BGW adding a launch coaster…it could definitely happen but for some reason I can't see one at BGW. Is Blue Fire reliable? If not…a Busch park is definitely out.
2. Cedar Point wouldn't get a ride like Blue Fire; they're good on launches and have Maverick which is pretty similar to Blue Fire.
3. Knott's doesn't have the space for another launching coaster.
If this did go to a US park, SFOG is possible as they are due for another coaster and a launcher is something they need. I can also see a launching coaster at Canada's Wonderland or SFNE in the future. Besides those parks, it seems more realistic that this would go to a European park.
This is definitely exciting though, Blue Fire looks incredible and it's good to see another Mack launcher (assuming that's what this is) being built.
In search of a coaster better than Boulder Dash.

I'm banking on SFGAm, as there are rumors circulating around there about a new Mack Launch coaster. Cedar Point wouldn't get one as they already have Maverick, which is basically the same thing.
I would love to ride one of these so much!

That's true, about being similar Maverick.
It looks too early to guess where it's going, but if it winds up outside the country, Ill be quite disappointed...
I wonder what they'll name it...

^yellow fire Megacoaster
Seriously, though, if this thing comes to America... whatever park that got it made a wise choice. Hopefully a park like Six Flags America would be interested in getting some new coaster that's not premiered in America yet... that'd definitely bring up the quality of the park and maybe even get it in the competition with KD.

I think that bright yellow track would look absolutely gorgeous sitting out over the lake at SFoG where Ninja currently sits.

^Not as good as it would look on the setting of lake Erie
Actually, I would love one of these around me. And seriously, even though it is not even close to possible, wouldn't yellow look nice where DT @ CP is right now? But I guess this would be too close to Maverick...

^Actually no. I dislike two steel coasters of the same color next too each other. DT is right next to WT.

Hey, you still haven't even ridden it. You haven't ridden a bad coaster until you've ridden Mean Streak.
You do need to go to CP though, seeing as you've been nearly everywhere else
I'm really interested in this track. Would love to see it in the US, as I have said before.

Ye Americans are all spoiled.... give it to Ireland .
Though I can see this one most likely going to either China, specifically to China Dinosaur Park because they are getting a "looping" coaster. Either them or Sarkanneimi, because nobody knows what their getting.

^Actually that was confirmed to be a Zamperla or Vekoma Motorbike. I don't remember which.
