It's time for another Official No Limits Contest!

Signups for the Halloween No Limits Contest start now!

The contest will begin on October 7th with contest concluding on midnight of October 31st.

There will be a single round.The rides will be Autumn/Halloween themed, and the guidelines and rules for building will be minimal. If you're into 3DS objects, this contest is for you!

Play begins now.

Rules:
  • Physical ride track must be at least 600feet.
  • It must be apparent that you spent more than 3 hours on you entry.
  • The ride should be in some way, shape or form Halloween / Autumn themed.
  • Entries must be turned in to the DE by midnight of October 31st.
  • The ride should be survivable and enjoyable to the general public.
Suggestions:
  • Keep pre-fab supports to a minimum.
  • 3ds objects are HIGHLY recommended.
  • Creating a custom environment is recommended.
  • Tera-forming is recommended buy not required.
  • Keep the (3ds) fog to a minimum. It slows down the computer like nothing else. (Note: Fog from the environment is just fine.)
  • Don't start your coaster when there are only 3 days left.

When the coasters are turned in, I will certainly take into consideration if a track was hand built, newton'ed, ect. .....or stolen from another track.
And with that, have fun and good luck designing!

That's all I've got for now. I had an organic chem exam last week and I have a calc II exam tomorrow so I've been short on time. Also, I've been too lazy to walk downtown and buy a new mouse, but with my fall break coming up I should be able to get some work done on it.

That happens sometimes when two faces of different 3d objects intersect....or are on the same plane. I'd suggest moving one of the two objects a little so that the two faces don't intersect.

or just make the rails smaller and poles larger; then you won't get the two-face effect.

Well, hard as I try, the layout I have worked with up until now is bad, and I know it. I am going to drop out, due to being busy and the fact that I hate the layout of my coaster. Sorry, everyone! Have fun!

I'm gonna go ahead and say yes so X-car doesn't have to :P

Nessie, you can only import if you have a GOOD 3ds maker. What do you have?
