I love Cedar Fair and their very imaginative color palate. :P

You should check out Carowind's coasters then! I think Woodstock Express, Top Gun, and Goldrusher are the only uniquely painted coasters in the park...everything else shares colors and paint schemes.

^ Eh, every coaster has blue (or color relevant to it) on it at Dorney though. Invertigo is teal and blue, Talon and Woodstock with blue supports; Wild Mouse, Hydra, and Possessed with teal supports; Steel Force and Thunderhawk with some blue on the trains...blue everywhere!

Maybe their next coaster will have some blue to it...you never know.

I would say that's more aqua than blue...but that's just me.
Anyway, I am pleasantly surprised, and rather impressed with Cedar Fair for stepping outside their comfort palate. xD I like it.

So the name for the Dorney Invertigo is Stinger. To be fair, I kind of like the name. Its somewhat original in terms of CF's usual name pallet.

I like the name and the logo. Honestly, I'm not sure why no one has thought of theming a Boomerang to a Scorpion before now as the shape of the structure really kinda fits. Nice job Dorney.

Kinzel apparently decided to try and drive Cedar Fair into the ground before he left... these just don't work. That and Dorney doesn't have a really wooded area does it? This would be the first in a primarily open area. Note Dinosaurs Alive at KI, KD, and CP are all in wooded areas.

I'm pretty sure most Dorney fans were holding out for a GCI in the wooded area behind Steel Force. So much for that plan.

^That would have been absolutely perfect, too... Dorney only has one woodie since Hercules was removed eons ago.

^You're are forgetting the one woodie that is very old and only operated with one train for two seasons and is named Thunderhawk. :P

Since Dorney is removing Monster, I thought that they would be adding a Windseeker sometime, probably in 2013. A GCI is definitely needed in Dorney's pathway of nothingness behind Steel Force.

I think that's what he meant by the "one woodie since Hercules was removed."

They're not removing monster, actually. It's being renovated, and it turned out to be taking longer than intended, as these things sometimes do.
Anyway, this will appeal to the school trips during May and then being blasted on by the New Yorkers for the rest of the season. Insane.

For those wondering about the success of KI's Dinosaurs Alive, our affiliate, The Inversion Podcast, reported a while back that it was pulling in 5 figures a day. So apparently, it worked. I'm just not convinced it will work as well in other markets or if it goes consecutive years in the same place.

I expected to see these more in small parks like Dorney, Worlds of Fun, and Valleyfair before even seeing light at the bigger parks, especially Cedar Point.

The colors look great! I love this scheme. I personally don't like how it's dwarfed by Possessed. The land could have been used more effectively in my opinion and they could have been smarter about locating this ride elsewhere in the park.

I still can't believe Wild Eagle was finished before this one. I'm hoping that they add something to make it more unique than Invertigo, but I don't know what it would be. Maybe new trains?
