The RCT3 High Speed Rail Project

Well, actually, the track is just mini-rail track, but the problem is that the train gauge (width between the rails) is different from the in-game mini-rail track gauge. This was done in anticipation of our very own custom tracks, and this is also why we have decided not to release TycoonCoaster's train sets as of now.
Anyways, let's give Bizarro a prize. He deserves it.

Anyway, I'd like to see an overview of the entire city and HSR complex.

I gave you a cookie, but it was a small cookie anyways. If this is what you wish, I don't mind.

I apologize, I am cheap. I tend to choose my camera angles carefully so you will always feel that the project is complete; that's how movies roll. I'm going to leave Xinan the way it is for now. The depression you see in the middle is supposed to be where the HSR and the HSR station are supposed to be, but I'm putting that off for awhile, perhaps indefinitely (partially because I realized now that the design is inherently flawed - the station is designed to support a full-length, 12-car consist, which is the length of a THSR 700T train, but not long enough to support 16-car consists, which is what Japanese and Chinese trains will use.
If you aren't satisfied, here is a rare diagram showing the inner workings of getting an v6.0a HSR tunnel done (It's quite complex).

*Note, the SGW version contains a certain degree of profanity. Viewer discretion is advised.
In the event that you are too lazy to go to Atari and SGW to see any new pictures, I've attached two as an appetizer.

Oh, and DFN, don't worry. I have a TON of puzzles waiting just for you.

Puzzle time.
How many?
Ten.
As always, there are cookies and candies for winners. Or, for people who prefer to use portals to solve puzzles for them, cake is also an option.
Anyone who correctly guesses first any of the puzzles (including the easy ones) will be given candy. Anyone who can figure out the more difficult ones will be treated to cookies. Those who can solve the hardest puzzles will be rewarded with cake and grief counseling.
(Anyone get the Portal joke? Like this post if you do!)
In the event that people get more than one question correct, the scoring method will be used:
Cake – Rewarded to person with highest score
Large and Small Cookies – Rewarded to 2nd and 3rd placeholders
Easy = 1 point, Medium = 2 points, Hard = 4 points.
Hint: Google, Google Images, Wikipedia, and previous posts in this thread are your best friends.
You will have 2 weeks to guess, so hurry!
EDIT: As a reminder, you do not not need to answer EVERY question. No penalties for guessing wrong, score is based on how many one gets correct.

One [easy]
You’ve seen this train before, just not a lot. What is this train’s name?
Two [easy]
How fast is this train designed to run?
Three [easy]
How fast does it actually run during normal operations?
Four [easy]
This train is a record breaker. What record did it break? Be specific.

Five [Medium]
Look at the fences next to the train tracks. Usually, one electrified fence should be enough to deter any idiots from wandering onto the tracks, so what is the purpose of having three non-electrified rows? (Hint: they are not “fences”)
Okay, if you think I’m just messing with your head with silly imagined “details” for RCT3, I’m not. I got to talk with a THSR field manager who told me everything about various subsystems and little technological gimmicks that are found along the line.

Six [Medium]
There are at least four countries in the world that run similar prototypes of this trainset. List them.

Seven [Medium]
The 700T (orange) operates in Taiwan, while the 500系 operated in Japan. Nevertheless, these two trains were built by the same manufacturers, and despite the 500系being nearly 10 years older than the 700T, the 700T still uses identical components (present in the model) from the 500 系. What is this component?
(Hint: Colors may slightly differ)
Eight [Hard]
The 700T has components from the 500系, but why?

Nine [Hard]
There is something wrong with the catenary poles in this picture. Technically, there is nothing wrong – there are no defects: but the THSR field manager told me that a very important technological safety feature that was built into the design of this catenary is actually not present on the line these trains run on. Identify this safety feature.
Hint: Compare the picture above to this:

Ten [Hard]
Please explain the controversial (real-life) relationship between these two trainsets. (No, the fact they are sharing the same platform and that they share this route is not controversial)
LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
Even if you don’t get anything right, everyone gets a reward for reading this post.

Nobody likes me nobody likes me... sulks in a little corner...
No, I'm not crying, but seriously. I did not expect patronage to be this low. Maybe I made it a bit too hard, but still, I did not expect patronage to be this low...
In any case, I'll drop a few hints.
Look at this post. Same models... <gasp>
And when I mean there are rewards, I mean there are very generous rewards. To further encourage your patronage, here are some appetizers:

That's FIVE pictures, guys. Guess Away!
Oh, and by the way, when responding, please number your responses.
[EDIT] Oops, accidentally repeated a pic. Now it's five.

This project is looking so good, I'm going to read the entire thread for it for page 1. I have one question though.. are the trains custom scenery objects or are they actually animated so they ride the track? If there animated you should release a video for this.

The trains are operable cars, made by a member of the RCT-HSR Consortium. I'm trusting that you will not leak any of this stuff outside, Kevin Matz, as this is considered my "private showcase". As for videos... well heheheh... try a hand at the quiz and maybe you'll see some!

Can you tell people where to find your story again? I'm sure some of them would like to read it, and it might inspire some people to do something more involved story lines as well. Anyways, I miss seeing you around and talking to you.
Oh, and it's getting colder over here...any chance of any pictures with snow in them?
