How can a ride that's currently operating be un-salvageable?
It isn't in horrible shape but because of how unenjoyable the ride experience is, it isn't worth saving. It's older but the maintainence hasn't been super throughout the years on it. It just isn't worth keeping or giving for that matter.

So I know everyone's been burning to find out what's coming to Six Flags America next year... Well if you can stand to wait just a little bit longer, I'll be posting some hints within the next hour!!!
Game on.
EDIT:
Heres the pic they posted.

Someone said it will be Iron Wolf. The park replied, "I will tell you this - when we announce what IS new for 2012... the answer will not be Iron Wolf. Jus' Sayin! ;-)"
So...just renamed iron wolf.

Well if you can stand to wait
That hint totally gave it away there too. "STAND to wait". I'm pretty sure it will be Wolf. If it is, could you see new trains going on the ride?

Does anyone else feel this way? I may be being overdramatic. But I'm flustered.

As for the clue, what I see so far is Standing Orders Confirmed, Project (20)12, And I think the skull just means its replacing Skull Mountain.

Small? I'd say microscopic. Smaller, even.
Sadly, you're right. I was sarcastic, a little.

Looks like the HOT contents are starting to burn away the envelope...
Makes me wonder if this has something to do with the theme. The skull and heat lead me to maybe something nuclear? I guess it very well could be apocalypse themed.
