For anyone that watched the animation they posted, did it look like it was made by an NL noob? The whole coaster was pumpy and jerky. Ugh.

I think its very professionally done. It can't be easy to accurately recreate all of the jerks and pumps on the real Iron Wolf, and whoever did this managed to get perfect. I can almost feel my head bouncing side to side just watching the video. Its nice to know that Iron Wolf will live on in its true form.

I agree. It looks well put together, but the POV is jerky and not well done. Also, notice the skull from Skull Mountain is staying. I'm interested to see how this fits in.

I'm guessing they kept the Skull Mountain facade as it also looks to double as 2 tunnels on Wild One. Probably not with having to do with the new coaster as may be interpreted. I rather like the new color scheme it looks to have and I really hope they'll supply it with new trains. I'm also curious if they will add special effects to it with all the fire they used in advertising it. Maybe a sound system as well, though it may be weird to add to stand up trains as they have adjusting seats, may be tough to install.

I looked and it and it appears the track is fine as far as accuracy, but the camera is the one bouncing around. It goes onto a smooth segment of track and camera will jerk a bit. If they are trying to incorporate roughness, they did a good job! Posted Image

The video looks professional to me. They changed the view every 5 seconds, and that was a little bothersome.
It looks smooth. It is too bad for anyone who didn't ride Iron Wolf. Just seeing the ads, any new riders may not
realize that they will need a new head.

Well, there hasn't been an update in a while but SFA just posted this photo on their Facebook page today.

Seems counter-productive to bury Superman just to put in an old stand-up...

Sadly, it looks like the refurbished restraints will still induce headbanging:

The construction for this had kind of been slow. They're still pouring footers, but no vertical construction as of yet (at least not to my knowledge).

Looks like the station to the bottom of the lift is completed:

Lookin good. I really like the new paint job alot. Also, I feel like it will probably be extremely low maintenance. Given the them, they can probably just let it fade/rust away and it'll still work, similar to how Nemesis now looks out at Alton Towers.

Are they keeping the supports red from Wolf or are they going to be silver like in the renderings?

I never even noticed the supported were still red until you pointed it out. I assume they will be repainted. The track and trains do look beautiful though. I'm surprised by how much I like the location of the ride. I do remember seeing the blueprints at one point and noticing the entrance is by the pre-lift turn. Here's a picture off their Facebook page of the lift, drop, and loop. While this ride may end up being one of the rougher B&M's at leats it looks graceful. Glad to see SFA get something. I see so much potential in this park if they'd clean up some things and maximize their potential in each area of the park. Especially everything behind Wild One in Gotham City. I'm also interested in seeing what the station will look like. This park may get a vist from me this summer to get the Superman credit that has inluded me twice and to ride this.

I have to just say this small bit of defense for a sentimental favorite of mine. If you know how to ride this thing, and especially when riding in the front, it can be a very enjoyable ride. But then on the other hand if you can't see where you're going and don't know how to ride it, you could also get off with internal cranial bleeding.

I'm the exact same way with Arrow loopers! Loch Ness Monster, Great American Scream Machine especially. You ride it and/or study the layout enough you can start to get really enjoyable rides out of rides that to newcomers would not be as friendly.

Unfortunately, you really can't help Demon much. IMO, they took out the wrong Arrow looper in 2002.

Haven't ridden them so I can't judge, but I was incredibly disappointed to see both Shockwave and GASM go. I'd probably agree with you. Personally, in my opinion, Superman: Ultimate Flight should be where X-Flight is now. Hard calls all the way around though. That and this discussion belongs in the SFGAm thread. Sorry for imitating Six Flags by neglecting SFA again.

I only rode Iron Wolf once. I would not give myself a new credit, but I don't think that Apocalypse
will kill me. Even though I am more excited about new rides for me in Virginia, SFA will be included
in this summer's trip.
