Its finally time for us to bring you a NoLimits contest to round out the summer! Here are the details:

The contest begins right now, no need to sign up.
The contest will run from right now until 11:59pm on Friday, September 2nd.
Again, no need to sign up. Just submit your file to the Downloads section to be added to the contest.

Now, for the objective of the contest:

The goal of this contest is to build the best recreation of SkyRush at Hersheypark given the resources that we currently have. Many of these can be found HERE and on the Hershey web site. I must say, beware of using the NoLimits footage released by Hershey as the layout has some fairly large inaccuracies when compared to the photos they released
The ride will be judged (by me and possibly a few others) over the total ride experience. This includes track work, supports, colors, and more.

That's about it. Just submit your best SkyRush recreation!

If they're going to give us the top view we could get pretty accurate with this.

That's what I was saying. The "could" part of what I said wasn't referring to the possibility of them givings us an overhead plan but to the possibility of us using it to be extremely accurate.

This is an example of what is possible:

If anyone wants the tera-texture, let me know.

Ah, sorry I misread and missed the "they're" in your original post. And yes, I know that the ability to do that is out there and I was hoping that some contestants picked up on that. I laid it down as a terratexture myself to mess around with it here and there.

Also, if you're planning on entering this contest please make a post in this thread. I'd like to know if there is going to be enough competitors to keep this running.

I'm not entering anything, but I'm going to say that I hope there is some NL contest soon that doesn't involve recreations.

I think a constant edit in Newton 2, export to element, import to no limits, repeat workflow would just take to long.
I'm going to build by hand then AHG.
