Then again, both KI and CP got Windseekers, so maybe being close doesn't matter to companies anymore?

Call me out-of-the-loop, but Discovery Kingdom seems to have been dead for a while. It could use anything, at this point.
Now, to understand recursion...

Based on what?
To be fair, Daniel, SFNE is most likely going to remove the old boomerang
Yeah, seconded. I was under the impression they were going to have both boomerangs, regardless.

I think the only real concern may be capacity here. One train, seats 12? The ride is relatively short, but it still has the "build-up" of launches which will lengthen the ride time and slow it down some. We'll see though, I don't know how croded the park is, and Medusa and Roar are nearby to eat up lines pretty well.

You made a lot of points that I was thinking about too.I must say, this looks like quite a ride. It shares some similarities with a number of different rides, like the Maurer Sohne SkyLoops, but is pretty unique overall. I will say it is a bit disappointing they couldn't find a different name, or at least give it a different ending than "Ultimate Flight" to distinguish it from the B&M Flyers (like SF has done with other Superman coasters). But the coaster itself looks quite interesting. Anybody else notice the ride is pretty much brought to a stop before the barrel roll? That should provide some excellent hang-time. It also slows before it's second vertical spike, which should build some nice anticipation as the train slowly rolls over the edge. Very nice addition overall.

I'm not really fan of the name or the theme. this will be the only superhero roller coaster in an entire park themed to animals/creatures. I would have preferred that Six Flags would have come up with something more creative like a beast/monster theme or sea serpent type theme. Also like you mentioned, if they were really set on using a superman name, they could have at least made a different ending.
Also I'm concerned about capacity. Pretty long ride cycle to only have 12 riders per train. You did mention that Roar is nearby to eat up lines, along with V2. Medusa is actually on the other side of the park so that won't help.
Those are my only complaints though, the ride itself is visually stunning and just looks flat-out insane
