Do You Have Any Plans For 2012 ?

Knoebels would be all new for me.
I will have about 7 or 8 attractions that will be new or I just didn't get a chance to ride in '07.
Dominator, Intimidator 305, and Fahrenheit will be big. (I rode Green Lantern as Chang.)
Of course, Verbolten and Skyrush will be new next year. (I rode Apocalypse as Iron Wolf.)
NO FEAR !!

We're looking to do a lot of smaller meet-ups around the country as well.

Edit: Oh yeah, and probably Minnesota.
As I am sure that you have heard, The Mall of America is a monster. Nickelodeon Universe
was interesting. I recommend Avatar Airbender. SpongeBob is a little hard on the neck
with the restraints and the sharp turns. They have some nice flats; I would make sure that
I get to Brain Surge.
Of course with Wild Thing, the big place for you in Minnesota might be Valleyfair. Naturally
it is no Cedar Point, but it is similar to the smaller Cedar Fair parks like Dorney and WOF.
Arrow has made a better hybrid, GCI has done better, and there is one twisted impulse that
I like more. That being said, Excalibur, Renegade, and Steel Venom are still worthy of your
attention. High Roller is an interesting wooden designed and built by teams that were
basically unknown.
I will return there at some point, and I suspect that you will have fun.
NO FEAR !!

Also, Valleyfair hasn't gotten a reasonable ride since Renegade, although I love me a ride on the Wild Thing.

Anywaaay. I have an Orlando trip in the works for Spring Break (March 12th - 16th), with intentions to visit either SeaWorld and Busch Gardens or Universal. I'm putting a budget limit at $500 and intend to use part of my tax return to fund it. Luckily, one of my good friends moved there recently so now hotel expenses (or car expenses, hopefully).
I fully intend to go to Canada's Wonderland this year but I have no idea when, and we visit Holiday World no matter what so we'll see how that goes. Otherwise, small day trips to SFA & KD, hopefully BGW for the TPCC meet up, SFNE/LC/Quassy, Knoebels, Hershey and obviously Dorney.

Let me know when you're for sure doing this. SFGAm is my homepark and I could meet you up there if you're interested.

-Holiday World (still atop my "most anticipated parks" list)
-Dollywood (just went this past year, but I love that park, and new coaster!)
-BGW (favorite park + new coaster)
-CP/KI (haven't been to CP since before TTD, and not to KI in like 5 years)
-Hersheypark/Knoebels (another favorite of mine)
-Kennywood (been dying to get there for a long time now)

Will do...I'll be in Waukegan for an airshow that weekend and will be at the park on the Sunday after more than likely while I'm there.

My dad told me if things are going well with his new job that sometime this year (June likely) we can go to Kings Island for the first time because he saw The Beast on the Travel Channel and ever since he has wanted to go.

I'll also be starting my 2012 TR thread soon and adding the dates for my big east coast trip in June.

moved in and working, but Flying Turns is still motionless. For now I will say MD / VA in early June and
PA in early August.

let me know. There are free tickets and I have more time off than I use for something like that. ** ]

My daughter graduates from college this May (in Florida), so to celebrate were going to Orlando for a 1 day visit to Sea World (May 11th), then heading down to Tampa for a 1 day visit to Busch Gardens...yahoo...
It'll be our first time at SWO, so my long antipated ride on Kraken and more recently Manta, is about to come to fruition! It'll be our 3rd trip to BGA, but our first since 06', so we're stoked, and not only for Cheetah Hunt.
The rest of the season looks interesting, if not stupendous, #1 being I need to get to SFA for sure this year, as I still haven't made time for my closet full park (APUSA is closer still, but is a tiny, 1 coaster local park).
Then it looks like i'll be hitting Hershey Park (and Skyrush!) right after the 4th of July again this year, either the 8th or 15th.
I'm hopeful of saving enough coin to get to BGW in early August for a couple of days, but that's truly "up in the air" as of yet.
And lastly, Knoebels is a "must do" anytime between June and September, preferably after and if Flying Turns gets an opening date...but i'm not holding my breath on that happening.
So, 6 or 7 parks (APUSA again for sure too), 3 new; 20-25 possible new credits and some long awaited re-connections with beloved rides of my past...
I guess if all this comes about, it will be a more amazing season than I thought it might
