I'm actually surprised that I couldn't find a 'Would you rather' thread from the past.


Would you rather get to ride 1 coaster for the rest of your life, or get to visit any park twice per year?

Would you rather ride a roller coaster that has killed people, or a roller coaster that was never tested?

Normally, I would say never tested, but just in case its an Intamin, I'd rather go on a ride that has killed people.



Would you rather marathon on Mean Streak, or Its a Small World?

Mean Streak by a WIDE margin. I'll take physical pain (which isn't that bad, MS was pretty good my last go around on it) over having an obnoxious song scarring me for life for it being stuck in my head, not to mention the fact I'd probably start strangling Disney characters upon exiting the ride amongst other things.

Would you rather meet LaMarcus Thompson (inventor of the original Switchback and Scenic Railways/aka the modern roller coaster) or Walt Disney (no description necessary) if you could only meet one of them?

LaMarcus Thompson, of course. I don't really care much about movies, and Disney parks don't really interest me.

An inverted, I don't really get the no floor feeling on a floorless.

would you rather ride an Arrow or TOGO Hyper?

Togo, as long as it isn't stand-up. The only thing Arrow does right is corkscrews. And I don't even like corkscrews.

Would you rather marathon TTD/KK in freezing temperatures, or ride It's a Small World when it's humid and 100+ degrees?

Cedar Point. Sandusky is a nice little town plus the fact CP has a whole resort to work with.

Drachen Fire by a landslide. There are too many other Schwarzkoph looper clones out there.

Desert, but only assuming it has terrain like SFFT


Have a music themed park or have a movie themed park.

A movie theme park it just so easy to theme rides and attractions to movies!

Have a custom layout Vekoma SLC or a custom layout Gerstlauer spinning coaster?
