Hey everyone, I will be going to San Antonio this next week and will be visiting Six Flags Fiesta Texas and SeaWorld. I'll be taking general park and ride photos at SeaWorld and Fiesta Texas and special SkyScreamer construction photos as well (most likely). Besides these, does anyone have any special photo requests?

Look for just a SkyScreamer update to be uploaded first sometime during this week and then next weekend a full PTR of the parks.

Alright everyone yesterday (March 14) I visited Fiesta Texas and had a great time. More photos from the park coming later, for now I just have a few SkyScreamer photos. Since February they have not added any more segments to the tower, just foundation/ground work for now. Here are some photos from today:

It's going to be really great when it opens and will offer some great views of the park. I like the color scheme they chose and it will look very cool next to the quarry wall.

Really? Sky Screamer is going to be colored like a giant caution tape sign? Ick.

I think the black and yellow looks pretty cool. And Six Flags probably didn't want to use the multi-colored scheme they used at other parks because it would look too much like Scream (drop tower ride).

I'm not crazy about the color scheme either. I would have gone with as dark a black as possible not with what looks like a lousy gray. Everything toward the "outside" edge of the park is in a great spot because of the quarry wall. One of the reasons I like Pandemonium, Road Runner Express, and Superman Krypton better than most other Gerstlauer spinning, Arrow mine train, and B&M floorless rides is because of this rocky terrain. This is a nice location for this.

I don't like the exposed bolt heads. Or the hexagonal shape of the tower.

Just stumbled upon this thread. I know its old now, but I'd still love to see that PTR if you have the time to put up those photos.
