I can't get the roll right.

I basically tried to make this as fun and crazy as possible...
With influence from Fahrenheit of course.

Please post your opinions. Tell me what you like, and especially what you don't like. It's not all that great. I'm just feeling a bit rusty.

Is this made in Newton 2? It's a very original design, but some of the shapings of the elements could be better, especially that overbank. For the overbank, use multizone force and make the roll into 3 sections, one where it turns into the desired roll angle, one with the roll staying the same, and one with the roll angling out. For the normal zone forces, use two zones, one going down below 1 G, and one going up to the original G force.

Also, not many Intamins have an MCBR, so I suggest you get rid of it and put a small dip in its place. The all you have to do is rework the layout a little bit, but that might be a pain adjusting the final brake run and all that jazz at the end.

I like the design, just make sure you don't use lats, and do use multizone forces for every major element. It might take longer, but the result looks better and will ride better in the end.

I moved this over to the Ongoing Projects forum since it fits in better here. The NL Forum is more for talking about NL as a whole, meaning stuff like updates and new releases.

I'm liking the twistiness and originality. It can be hard to judge tracks from pictures when they are super twisty, but I'm liking the looks of the layout.

Could we get some photos more to the side so we can see the elements clearer?

Sorry about the wrong forum. I wasn't thinking.

Well, I didn't use Newton2 at all. This layout is entirely hand built. I'm using the iSmooth method, so that's probably the problem with the final roll, but I seemed to get the Immelman's zero g properties right very quickly. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong.
As for the overbank, that's exactly how I did it. I used the three-section method. It might be the angle, but it's probably still wrong.

Thanks for the feedback.

Yes, handbuilding is very difficult to get down, but it can do stuff that you can't get using Newton. Looks very nice, just make sure the segment length is relatively the same for each track segment, and it will be pretty smooth. Also, try to keep the lats in between 0 and 0.6 on steel coasters, as they really don't have any lats to speak of.

Thanks again. I'll work more as soon as I get accustomed to being home.

Also, should I terraform before supporting? (Yes I'm doing custom supports.)

yes you should. If you don't, then the supports get moved away from their original spots, from where you wanted them. And it would be easier to do supports after terraforming, as some parts would be closer to the ground and won't require complex supports.

I have resumed.

Let me answer some questions.
No, I will not be terraforming.
Yes, I have tweaked the layout. You'll get to see the tweaks later.
Yes, I will be using custom landscapes, and if anybody can help me with that, I'd be very grateful. I would like the ground to be a solid color, such as white.

Still 100% handbuilt, even though I made several failed attempts to AHG some parts.

Kudos for handbuilding, I would never have that kind've paitence. One suggestion I have is to make it all 3 rail from the pull up of the drop onwards. The ride seems too small to need the 4 rail track. I like the supports for the lift and drop, but in the second picture the supports seem a little thin. I recomend putting them up a size.

Also, next time, please convert the image files to .jpg. They are soooooo much easier to view then .bmps.

Just letting you know, this isn't dead.
If anyone is interested, I would like to have a few testers. I need to make sure trackwork is good before I can continue supporting.
PM me if you want the DL.
