land, making mountains question

I just got RCT2 and was going to make some hills. In Rct1, under the land box you get, you start with one sqaure, and can move up to more and more squares to raise or lower the land.
If you go negative from the one sqaure, it gave you what I called, a hill builder option. Instead of a pure square of pure up and down, you were able to raise a non-square hill up and down.
Anyhow, in RCT2, this option seems to be missing. Did they put it someplace else, or did they just do away with it?

Yes, it is available in RCT2, but only through the Scenario Editor. But as Mr. Madness said, there is atleast one trainer out there that brings back the ability to use the mountain-making tool. Links to all of the major trainers are listed at the right side of the Download Extras page. It may be the 8 Cars Trainer, but I'm not completely sure about that.

I had wondered about the same things myself. I think the fact that they left that option out of the actually playing of a scenario really hurts your creative abilities. I couldn't count the times that I've needed that tool after I've started a scenario. I'll look into the trainers though to see if I can find the one that helps with this. If anyone else knows exactly which one it is please let us know!

Here's a link to the 8 Cars Per Trainer website so you can download it. It's a great trainer and I use it in a lot of my parks too. Sometimes it's only to own all of the land so you don't have that annoying fence.

No problem, glad to help! I thought that it was the 8 Cars Trainer.
I'll have to use that more often when I need it, but I am hesitant when it comes to using trainers during a major project.

I have just adapted to doing my own hills. Gives me more creative control over what is happening anyways. You always have to edit the generated hills to make them mesh better. Especially with lakes.
