What you do is answer yes or no to the previous question asked. Then you ask a yes or no question. YOu can also explain why you answered yes or no.

I'll start.

Have you played RCT3 yet??

yes
i went there a few months ago, and was my first time in 7 years, even though i live 3 1/2 hours away. when i was younger i would not go on roller coasters, so every one there was my first time riding. it is much better than michigans adventure which i dont feel like going to anymore. millenium force and ttd were also great.

do you think a coaster will beat kingda ka by 2007?

Of course! I mean Kingda Ka beat TTD very quickly. I hope it's something different than a rocket coaster. :P

Do you think there will ever be a B&M flyer as a hyper-coaster?

No, because the forces would probably be too great for that kind of setup.

Do you think that Six Flags will go bankrupt and shut down before 2008?

Yes.

Here's why (ready for this? ;) ):

Below are my rankings for all the B&M coasters I've ridden, out of 115 total steel coasters in my track record:

2 Alpengeist
5 Apolloís Chariot
6 Talon
7 Nitro
10 Montu
19 Raptor
23 Great Bear
25 Medusa
26 Dueling Dragons: Ice
27 Dueling Dragons: Fire
28 Incredible Hulk
29 Kumba
40 Batman: The Ride (SFoG)
41 Batman: The Ride (SFGAdv)
42 Batman: The Ride (SFoT)
52 Georgia Scorcher
55 Mantis
56 Chang
59 Vortex

Now, here are my rankings for the Premier coasters I've ridden:

9 Mr. Freeze (SFoT)
16 Batman and Robin: The Chiller (Batman)
22 Batman and Robin: The Chiller (Robin)
33 Speed: The Ride
34 Outer Limits: Flight of Fear (PKD)
48 Jokerís Jinx
72 Runaway Mountain
94 High Roller

I added the rankings for the B&Ms and divided by 19 (total # of B&Ms) to get the following average ranking: 29.053.

I then added the rankings for the Premier coasters and divided by 8 (total # of Premiers) to get the following average ranking: 41

So, from a very technical and statistical standpoint, B&M coasters are indeed better than Premier coasters. :)

Get this, maybe ;) I am going to try, but probally not, it is to far away for me. I will ride the 2nd tallest again though.

Next Question: Are you looking forward to Geauga Lake's 2005 season?

Next Question: Would you go to at least 3 different parks in 1 season?

2001 - 5 parks
2002 - 8 parks
2003 - 8 parks
2004 - 8 parks

^ Let's make sure that this stays 'Yes or No' instead of 'This or That.'

Let me try answer with yes, and to Top Thrill Dragster. It was a larger leap going from Steel Dragon to TTD than from TTD to Kingda Ka.

Now I don't mean to sound dull....but no.

It looks kind of.....plain. I think X-Scream will be scarier because of its very shakey, creeky motions. The way you can hear the gears grinding and the metal clashing on X-Scream makes it sound as though it actually could fall off. The new ride however, looks more safe and enclosed, therefore doesn't look as thrilling or intense. And it will probably be a 20 second ride. :P

Do you think a roller coaster will ever top 800+ feet?

Yes. In the 1970s the highest coaster was about 100-125 ft, and we've come so far in those 20 years, so in the next 20 or 30 years we will have a 800 footer.

Do you think the new lap bars hindered SROS, or helped it?

Again, make sure you ask a question that can be answered with only 'yes' or 'no.'

I'll say no, I don't think the new lapbars helped S:RoS (I don't think they hindered it, either, except that they're a little more constricting for the riders; but it doesn't really hinder the ride). I maintain my theory that modifying the lapbars was a 'solution' for a problem that does not exist. Many witness accounts point to human negligence, not faulty mechanical safety devices.

Edit: Arg. I was too slow with my response...

^To the question above: YES. I don't own RCT3 yet, but I've played the demo and it is loaded with bugs. The final release has even more, as well as other drawbacks derived from poor decisions when creating the game. I may change my answer when RCT3 has been patched a number of times to fix these problems, but until then I feel that NoLimits is a far superior game.

Aesthetically speaking, do you think wooden coasters look better than steel?

HMMM, no. I'm sorry, but no woodie can compair to the sheer mass of TTD or KK. Man, woodies look great, but just look at some of the pics of S:UF or Talon, those rides LOOK awesome.

Do you think Inverting rockets are better than non-inverting rockets?

Yes, as long as they don't sacrifice the qualities of non-inverting rockets like airtime, and sheer magnitude and velocity.

Did SFMW's V2 modifications improve the ride?
