Coaster Sim. Fan, on May 11 2006, 12:13 AM, said: The will or will not give off light it depends on what you (the person using the set) want them to do. If you read the first post I think it explains the process pretty good.

Well after being extremely busy this set seams to be back on track. I managed to get the final object tweaks done along with making the icon sheet. Now all that is left is to put in the icon positioning. Hopefully if things go right the release wont be to far away.

Now anticipating the release of this set I thought it was time to start to show people how to use this set. H stands for how high a piece is and W stands for how wide a piece is. Now to make it easier I color-coded the pieces in the icons of this set. A regular piece such a 3H would be in reed. A 3H piece in offset two will be in blue. A 3H piece in offset 1position 2 will be in green and a piece in position 2 would be in yellow.
Now look at the wall in picture one see how you see the grid line now if you want to put neon lights on that wall you would use stranded pieces (the red pieces)
Now look at the picture in picture two, look at how you don’t see the grid line if you wanted to put lights on this you would use lights in offset 1 (the blue pieces)

Doing out side corners.
If you look at picture one ware you see the grid line you can just use the stranded lights (red)
Now in picture two ware you don’t see the grid line it’s a little harder to do. You have to make I mix between the Offset 1 pieces (Blue) and the offset 1 position 2 (green).

Inside corner.
As seen in picture one you can see the grid line that means you can gust yours the stranded (red pieces)
Now if you don’t see the grid line like in picture two you have to use a mix of the offset one (blue pieces) and the offset 1 position 2 pieces (green).

Putting lights on lifts.
Take a look at the picture. The red pieces you see are put in using the standard pieces (red ) The yellow pieces you see are put in using the position two pieces (Yellow). Now the yellow and the Purple prices are actually stranded pieces (red) but I made them a different color to point something out about them. Those peaces are only ˝ high. The whit pieces are the top ˝ piece and the purple are the regular (bottom) 12 high piece.

*Ignore this post, I got it to download properly*
I'm having problems getting the download to download properly. When I save it to my computer it saves as an HTML file, and not a zipped file. When I change the name of the save file, before I download it, it downloads as a zip file, but says it is invailid or corrupted. Is there something wrong with the way I'm downloading it, or is there something wrong with the file?

No one has any opinions on the set?
Take a look at how these lights improved my lift for my ride the Atlantis
Experience.

Neon Lighting set 2 Lift hill expansion
Well I have been thinking about expanding this set and I finally started having some time so I got to work. This set is going to be a separate set called neon lighting set lift hill expansion. Basically as the name says pieces to light up your lift hills. I the picture seen below is a piece that matches up with the steep coaster track.

Now a new piece. Bigger corner pieces. Between the larger size the draw distance is better and then I add an alpha texture box around them to also improve draw distance even more. Besides for improved draw distance I also thought the bigger spheres would make a nice effect for our parks.

This pack is really moving fast. Now all the diagonal pieces are compiled. They are For diagonal flat track, Lift slop, and steep sloop. All pieces come in stranded position and position two like the lift hill lights in the neon lighting set.

Well work on the second set (neon lighting set lift hill expansion) is almost complete basically all that is left to do is icons. The new corner pieces will come in ever position available in the first set. There is a new strength of light emitter called high medium because I felt the gape between high and very high was to big. Also is a new light emitter I called a spot which is the same shape of my light emitters but have a much bigger light radius and can be used to light up your rides by placing them around your ride or in your support structure. (Only down side to this is they are hard to find to delete) (Also thanks to Vodhin over at the Atari forum for inspiring this idea and alloying me to build off his floodlights). Another piece included is a piece on a 45 degree upwards angle which allows for some interesting pliability’s. Here are a few pictures showing some uses of the sets. In picture one shows a building using some pieces including the 45 degree angle piece to give I sci-fi look. In picture two it shows just a random structure made with the pieces that might fit a sci-fi theme. In picture three shows the new lighting emitters.
