Ive always thought that a parking garage would be a good idea but Ive sort of soured on the idea of moving the park futher south.  The reason being, they just built a brand new entrance and in doing so pretty much established where the park's midway is going to start.  The only thing that elimiating parking would do is to allow coasters to start on the current midway and then shoot out south.  I suppose it could be done once or twice (GateKeeper blocks most of it off).  In any case, I could see this happening in the next 20 years but probably not in the next 5.

I don't know the layout, but just in general for all parks I'm not sure if that would work. You wouldn't want to be able to see parking structures from the midways inside the park. cedar point is so beloved I'm not sure how people would react to something so functional that isn't fun.

I'm probably the only one that feels this way, but a dive coaster is what I want Cedar Point to get the most. Especially if they are going to stay on their B&M kick. I think they could make a really good one.

I really like the idea of these signes on the fence. The main sign at the beginning all but guarantees that a new major coaster will come soon, if not 2016.

By the way, that sign on the fence says, "the diverse variety of these machines," at one point.

I just found that to be funny, whether it was intended by the park or not. I know it's a stretch.

I think parks do a lot of things like that just to irritate the enthusiasts (things that would go over most people's heads, but it's a game to them to see how much they can try to hide codes that give us the idea we're on the right track).  I remember not that many years ago CP put out a lot of "FALSE CLUES" :)

They also have made fake graphics to tease their fans, or try to trick them.

CP did something similar to this before GateKeeper giving a history of what stood on that space.

I love when parks do things like that because it goes to show how the they truely pay attention to what the enthusiast community is talking about.

KI released a fake Bat website about a week before the announcement.

SFGAm's PR team from a couple seasons ago did similar stuff with their teasers with Goliath. They even admitted that they read up on coaster forums to gather ideas for their teasers leading up to Goliath's announcement. They did things such as having a Full Throttle energy drink in a teaser video which made a lot of people think that a launching coaster was coming. I think a lot of bigger parks now have teams that check out what coaster enthusiasts are saying so they can have some fun.

So with the news of brown dive track at the B&M plant and all of the rumor of the dive coaster going to Cedar Point.  I think I am almost convinced that it will be a Dive coaster especially after the shirt with a brown dive coaster on it.  I also think that the color could give us the Centurion coaster name that has been out there now since the rumor of that going to Carowinds.

If this track is indeed for Cedar Point, then I too would hope they would use Centurion instead of Valravn. However, they could pull a new trademark out of nowhere at the last minute as Carowinds did with Fury.

My son who is a welder and a coaster nut says that the orange-ish brown color in the B&M plant pictures is probably primer.  We noticed one piece that was a little more red.  That might be the actual coaster color.  We agreed that this track is too wide for a  hyper or looper.  It must be for either a Wing or Dive Coaster.

I'm leaning towards the Dive coaster rumor as well, but I'll predict that it will be called Valravn.

Cedar Point loves playing with enthusiasts and putting out false clues, however, I think this one is legit.

I haven't seen the track yet, but if it is for Cedar Point, the made in Ohio story would be a great one.

There's two types of track in those pictures. There's brown which is dive coaster and lighter salmon which looks to be standard hyper/wing

Millennium has been my #1 coaster for a while and I've been wondering how the other gigas stack up. Over the last week I went to Kings Dominion and I'm at Carowinds today. After riding both I feel that MF is better than i305, but the rides I've had on Fury today lead me to believe that it blows Millennium out of the water.

I think that it is not fair and too early to ask this question. Fury is too new, not enough people have ridden

Leviathan yet, and Steel Dragon 2000 is too far away for most of the people on this website.

This is how I think that I would rank them. They would all be in the top 20 overall steel.  (I have not ridden yet.)

1. Fury 325

2. Millennium Force

3. Leviathan

4. Steel Dragon 2000

5. Intimidator 305

I think I305 is one of those love it or hate it rides. I love it and consider it to be the best giga as of now.

Top 5:

1. I305

2. Millennium

2. Fury 325 (Fury has the better layout but the setting for MF is better and my most memorable rides on Millennium were better. Fury is the slightly better ride but I personally prefer Millennium)

4. Leviathan ( wasn't super unimpressed with this ride)

5. Steel Dragon 2000 only 1 I haven't been on.

All 5 are good rides but only think the top 3 are top 20 level rides. I already consider leviathan a top 25 ride at best and once you account for the overseas rides like Nemesis Expedition Ge-force etc it would fall a lot more IMO.

Top 10 Steel: 1. Skyrush 2. Intimidator 305 3. Maverick 4. X2 5. Bizarro(SFNE) 6. Iron Rattler  7. Millennium Force 8. Fury 325 9. Banshee 10. New Texas Giant
Top 5 Wood: 1. El Toro 2. Prowler 3. Goliath(SFGAM)  4. American Thunder 5. Lightning Racer(L)

Top 5 Parks: 1. Cedar Point 2. SFMM 3. Kings Dominion 4. Hershey 5. SFFT  Being a coaster person I don't care much for theming or any of that stuff.

I love i305 but I feel that it is too short, and I don't enjoy blacking out everytime I ride a coaster.

I have no problem with 305; it now sits at #12 among all steel coasters.  It is a little short for a giga, and I prefer more speed and floater air over turns and twists.  Millennium Force is #4 and Leviathan is #5 for all steels.

Here's what I think about Valravn; I absolutely love the color scheme. I know a lot of people aren't very fond of it, and a lot of people are saying it doesn't match the overall theme of Valravn, but I believe Cedar Point will make it work. They obviously picked these colors for a reason, if that means making a last minute name change like Carowinds did, or incorperating some unexpected changes in the theme, I believe that it will all be awesome in the end. I am an absolute fan of cedar point adding this coaster and I believe it is a great way to nearly round out their perfect coaster collection!! Looking forward to the announcement!

Also going along with the whole I305 Topic; I do agree that it is a love it or hate it ride. I do put it a spot or two lower than Millennium and Leviathan on my list, but it is (What I believe) the more intense of the three.
