I would just like to re-lay down some of the rules when posting in the projects forum to make some of the newer members aware of what we expect.

1) Only post a topic about a park or ride if there is something to show us. There is no point in posting a topic telling us you are going to start a project, or telling us something about a project you are working on if you don't have any screenshots to put up. Topics that are started but don't include screenshots or something similar will be locked until there is something to show.

You can't expect people to comment in the topic either if there is nothing to show.

2) When posting a comment about a park or ride, please try to make it constructive and offer something to the topic. Posts saying things like "I like this park" and "This ride is really bad" offer nothing to the topic and are pointless. On top of that they are considered spam and may be deleted.

You are entitled to say what you think of the project (within the forums rules), but must include some sort of constructive criticism to help whoever is working on it. You are also reminded that posts should be no shorter than 2 sentences, and that goes for all of the forums except in the games forum.

3) Screens should be no larger than 800 pixels (600 preferably) otherwise they make the forums hard to read and take ages to load.

4) When posting a link to a park or ride, include screenshots as well. People won't download something if they don't know what to expect. That is just common sense.

If you follow these simple rules, you will make the forums a lot better to read, follow and maintain. It will also help you gain respect in the community and give us a better image.

Thanks for that Kraken.

We needed to someone to re-lay down the rules (and seeing as we're getting a lot of new members) explain to them what's goin on!

I just hope people take the time to read it all.

(Lloyd Roberts should visit more. Back when I was 9 or 10 reading these forums (long before I became a member) his posts amused me.)
