With the way theme parks have been for years, it has brought me to interest of how they will operate in the future. Also, the time ratio of how long they will stay in operation on a yearly basis. These days your average theme park such as Six Flags parks stay open for a few months and then close when winter season hits depending on the weather conditions in the area. Also, will theme parks still be outdoor types of enviroments?, or will they be more like Universal Studios, where the attractions are inside making it possible for people to stay comfortable in the cold weather.

What types of themes will theme parks create for themselves. Will they just be places where you go to ride, rides and play in the water park. Or will they become places where tourist pratically live in for a week. My example for super theme park would be a place with rides, movie theatre, hotel resorts, mini-shopping distict, water pool, and resturaunts like T.G.I. Fridays. Things like water parks, hotel resourts, already exist inside every average theme park but what about many shopping district inside the theme park. This would attract more tourist and actually convince them to stay inside the theme parks property and spend more money rather than leaving the perimisses and spending money els where.

Well, when you think about it. Park companys like Disney and Universal are already doing this with their resorts and very large shopping areas. Have you even thought about Downtown Disney or CityWalk. All of things you just mentioned are at the parks some place right now but it is the thought that counts.

Yes I have thought of those two theme parks companies, but what about the rest. But most of the theme parks around the globe are more of a one day type of thing. You show up in the morning and stay until they close. After that, you go home and sleep. That is going to have to change one day. Theme parks, might find ways to become a all night type of thing.

Theme parks should find ways to do stuff like(Lock Down Events), where you stay all night and do stuff inside the park. Thats why most regulars get bored with the park in the area, because they are only one day types of places. Most theme parks have a hard time doing a (Coaster After Dark Special) because of cerfew laws that prevent them from doing that. Events like that are going to have to take place more often with more amusement parks because they need things to attract more people to the park, besides just spending millions of dollars on a new ride to bring them back the next year.
