I have heard that the creators of Nolimits are intending to create Nolimits2! I don't know about this, but it seems like this is actually taking place, as he states that he is partially done. It should have the Dive machine option, and the 4D as well.

What do you think that it should have over the first?

They should have...
-suspended swinging coaster
-B&M flyers
-Dive Machines
-Intamin Accelerators
-custom train making
-Auto-Heartlining (like make straight, or smooth)
-Copy & Paste Supports (read this idea somewhere)
-Being able to place multiple coasters in one area

These are just a few of my ideas...

It is a little more than rumor, there have been updates on the official website and even an interview over a year ago:

Nl 2 has been in the works for more than a year now. Ive talked to Ole Lange. There will be For Sure 4D-coasters such as s&s and Perhaps Intamin. Also Flyers are a huge possibility.

For coaster designs... Give me B&M Flyers, Dive Machines, and Intamin Accelerators, Pre-Fabs, and WingWalkers and I'm totally happy. I really don't care about any other missing designs tbh. And I must say, any kind of tool to help with heartlining would be golden.

So NL 2 is going to be one program instead of 2 now. I guess It'll be more like a game, which is bad for me; I like to be able to play it in non-cpu sucking window mode.

and ya, I think only the diver and flyer is really all that is necessary. But I'd like to see those mini toboggon rides, kinda be cool to recreate space mountain if someone put the time into it.

Just because they combine it into one program doesn't mean you lose window mode or slow down your system anymore.

This looks cool so far. Looks like its going to need a bit more videomemory than before to run it well, though.

The terrain kind of reminds me of what the terrain in FSX looks like.

I am getting more excited about the text than the pics. Yeah, the auto plant thing is nice to switch up the terrain a bit, and the water looks good, but I have a feeling a HUGE framerate problem is coming my way.

I like these though:

. For NL2 you can expect that the editor is built right into the simulator sharing the same display.

NL2 will use a project based folder architecture which means that each track is stored in a separated folder with all the resource-files required by the track (custom cartextures, scene-objects etc.) located inside. Project folders can be compressed from within the application to a single package file

So 3d editing? and built in Track Packager.

, the hardware requirements for NoLimits 2 will be higher than for NL1, but this should be no surprise

Yay for possible uber lag for me!

Of course the hardware requirements are going to be higher than NL1. The game is a couple of years old. When have you ever seen a new computer program that has not had higher hardware requirements. It defies logic... you are going backwards, not forwards.

Ok when this comes out I'm going to have to break down and buy it. And make sure that the laptop I'm getting as a graduation present meets the systems requirements. BUt I am tired of not having NL and NL2 is just the thing to finally make me purchase it.

I know I don;'t own the orginal but I do know somethings about noLimts, and I think they should do what RCT2 and RCT3 dose with there tracks alredy made so you dont have to work with the peice. But, if there is 4D Coaster how do you think the fliping seats will work?

The RCT idea is terrible; NL is supposed to be a simulator that allow you to manipulate track pieces however you choose so its as if like reality; not a fantasy RCT world. And for the 4Ds, if they're included, they'll figure a way to control it piece by piece.

I did not mean the graphic change, I ment that there should be tracks all redy layed out that ou don't have o take a mnitue to make(I don't know how long it takes) Like adding a simple heatherline roll could just be at a click of a button.

^That would kill the entire point of No Limits. If that's all you want to do then just play RCT3.

I didn't say a graphics change, I said building like as if it were RCT is a terrible idea. Like CC said, it ruins the fun and point of NL.

Guess your right, but I think they should do copy and paste supports like scrubs said. And. it would be nice if there was more effects like waterfalls and Ice(I never played noLimits)

Matthew, you clearly have no idea what t the point of NL is, so you really shouldn't be giving suggestions. Do you really think it takes a few minutes to make a ride?! Notice that it takes weeks, even months to make a ride. Pay attention to our NL threads.
