My name is Amanda. I'm going to be 16 on October 20, finally. I live in New Jersey, and unlike the tons of Jersey bashers who live here, I love it. I'm about a half an hour from the city and the shore, respectively. Yes I will admit I have an accent, but no, I don't say "Joisey". NOBODY in Jersey pronounces it that way. That's how you tell who's a New Yorker because they say it [/miniature rant]. Speaking of accents, I pick up accents quickly. Every year in August I go to the Outer Banks for a week and I come back sounding like an North Carolina native. I happen to think it's pretty cool.

Now I'm just going to tell you a bunch of other random information. I learned how to play the flute in fourth grade. I'm still good at it, I just don't play it. I taught myself how to play the piano. I can play any song by ear, but I'm not good at it. My favorite instrument is my voice. Singing, acting, and dancing are the best things ever. I am a beast at Guitar Hero 3. I'm on the hard level right now. I'm also pretty good at drawing. I skipped a level in art this year, go me!

Music is my love. I listen to such a variety. My iPod basically is my life. I don't have an excessive amount of songs, but it's always playing. I have a silver nano.

I love the beach! When I go down the shore, I love skimboarding. I also started learning how to surf last September, and never finished learning. I body surf, and boogie board. I'm not afraid to get pummeled by waves. I actually enjoy it because it builds my strength in the water. I think it's all fun.
