Blackpool Pleasure Beach Partners With Nickelodeon

Nickelodeon Land to open in 2011

Blackpool Pleasure Beach, one of the top theme parks in the UK, and Nickelodeon, the world's number one kids entertainment brand, have come to a licensing agreement that will result in the first Nickelodeon attraction in the UK. Nickelodeon Land, the product of this agreement, is scheduled to open in the spring of 2011.

Nickelodeon will cover around six of Blackpool Pleasure Beach's forty two acre footprint. Among these six acres many of Nickelodeon's shows and popular characters will be brought to life through fourteen attractions. The partnership will also bring new rides, attractions, retail shops, games and food service establishments. Most importantly, Nickelodeon's signature green slime will be brought to Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
