More information regarding Disney's big plans for 2012 are being released to the public. As you many know, Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom will be undergoing a large expansion to the Fantasyland section of the park. The first of the new attractions will be opening in 2012 while the rest of the additions will debut in 2013 according to Theme Park Tourist.

The latest concept art revealed what the inside of the Be Our Guest restaurant will look like. The restaurant will be housed inside a recreation of the Beast's castle from the Disney film Beauty and the Beast. The restaurant will be big enough to seat 550 guests in three rooms. According to Theme Park Tourist the restaurant will serve fast food during the day before transforming into a full service sit down restaurant in the evening. Surrounding the castle and restaurant will be a small town area featuring shops and restaurants also themed to Beauty and the Beast.

Also released in the latest batch of concept art was details about the Barnstormer coaster that has always called Fantasyland home. The coaster will be undergoing a re-theming effort. It will now be themed to Goofy's alter ego, and pilot, The Great Goofini. An example of this concept art can be found on the left. According to Theme Park Tourist, this re-theme fits into the plans to make Fantasyland more gender-neutral by shying away from the girly princesses.

Everyone's favorite Dumbo ride will also be getting an overhaul during the expansion project. According to the Orlando Sentinel, the section that was once Mickey's Toontown Fair will now be dedicated to the story of Dumbo. This means that the park will be getting a second Dumbo ride. The rides will fly in opposite directions so guests will be able to see other guests flying towards them similarly to a dueling coaster. But don't worry, the park plans on timing the move of the original dumbo so one of the attractions will always be open.

We will continue to bring you the latest in Magic Kingdom news, so check back for more details about the Fantasyland expansion!
