Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is most known for being home to Formula Rossa, the fastest coaster in the world. However, the park has more to offer than just one fast coaster. The park is home to around 20 other attractions and has just debuted its latest ride.

Viaggio in Italia, the park's latest attraction, opened to the public last week. The ride is a simulator designed to give guests an aerial tour across Italy. According to UAE Interact the ride will take guests over Venice, Tuscany, Lago Maggiore, Rome and many more sites.

While on this journey guests will experience several special effects. The simulator will lift the guests to heights of up to just under 48 feet. Besides movement guests will also pass through moments of mist, wind, and the smell of plants in correspondence with moments on the screen according to UAE Interact.

This ride is very similar to the popular Soarin' at Walt Disney World's EPCOT. Both simulators portray aerial tours across the landscape while undergoing several special effects including height, wind, and scent.

In an interview posted by UAE Interact Andy Keeling, Park Manager of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, said, "If you close your eyes, breathe in the pine-scented air and feel the cool mist float over you can almost imagine you are driving through the Italian countryside – Viaggio in Italia is a ride that really brings the Ferrari sensation to life."
