A new park will be coming to Europe in 2015.
More details have been released about a brand new theme park resort that will be coming to central Europe for 2015. The park will be located in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Poland, which is around 19 miles from the capital city Warsaw.
According to NewsParcs the resort will be named Adventure World Warsaw and will cover around 568 acres of land. This land will house the largest theme park in the region, the largest indoor waterpark in the region, two hotels totaling 800 rooms, and an entertainment village that will contain night-clubs, shopping areas, and restaurants.
The funding for the project is being made possible by several private and institutional investors. These investors have come together to form a group called Las Palm. This group then reached out to hundreds of experts, architects, IP consultants, and manufacturers to help them turn their plans into reality.
According to NewsParcs Vekoma was chosen to provide the park with three coasters. These coasters will include a mine train, junior boomerang, and another junior coaster. The company Hafema will be contributing with the addition of two water slides. They aren't the only big name companies signed on for the project though. Mack Rides, Zamperla, Huss Park Attractions, Zierer and ProSlide Technology will also be responsible for some flat ride additions to the park and slides for the waterpark.
The park will have no lack of theming as the preliminary sketches and plans show plenty of in dept theming for distinct areas of the park. The main sections of the park will be Adventure Harbour, Lost Kingdom, Old Poland, Creature Lagoon, Land of Legends, and Castle Island. Each of these sections will have their own theme as well as attractions that fit the theme. Creature Lagoon will serve as the dedicated children's area of the park.
NewsParcs reported that the groundbreaking ceremony for the park happened on July 21st.
