Belle Island, Pigeon Forge, TN, USA
March 4, 2004 - Homer
Belle Island, Pigeon Forge, TN, USA - Pigeon Forge residents will be glad to hear this great news, but it is not only great news for thrill seekers. A new theme park is set to open in 2005 that will bring around 1,200 new jobs to the area. This will be the largest boost to the area's economy since Dollywood opened.
Along with the new theme park, Belle Island will also provide a historical aspect. Debbie Reynolds, a big movie legend, will have a Hollywood motion picture museum that will house original costumes, memorabilia, and original prints of classic movies that she has been collecting for 35 years.
In addition to the museum, there will be the usual amusement rides, park shops, and even a hotel.
