Blue Diamond Park, New Castle, DE, USA
March 22, 2004 - Homer
Blue Diamond Park, New Castle, DE, USA - Delaware was once one of the unlucky states to not have a roller coaster to call their own. That all changed last week with the construction of yet to be named coaster purchased from DelGrosso's Amusement Park for $110,000. While at the DelGrosso's Amusement Park, the coaster went by the name Zyklon.
The Blue Diamond Park Action Sports and Entertainment Complex is a 400 acre facility that features BMX tracks, an off-road riding area for ATV's and dirtbikes, a 36-hole mini golf course, a midway with rides, games, and food, paintball and more. Family Entertainment is set to open sometime in May of this year. The other attractions mentioned are already open and paintball is set to open sometime this summer. Many more attractions are on the drawing board for the complex as well.
