Six Flags America, Largo, MD, USA - An unidentified woman was taken to a hospital after losing consciousness on the Shark Attack water slide at Six Flags America's Hurricane Harbor water park today around 6 p.m.The woman suffered from cardiac arrest while on the slide, and was found unconscious in the water after reaching the bottom. Lifeguards performed CPR as they waited for paramedics to arrive.UPDATE on July 5th, 2005-- By: HomerThe woman's identity was a 29 year old woman from Gettysburg, Pennsylvania named Maria Salazar. She died later on that night from the heart attack. An autopsy has yet to be revealed about how exactly the woman died and what health complications she had. The woman was in an innertube the entire time and never went underwater. We will have more details on this story as more information comes.
