Will Hong Kong Disney have fireworks?

It is expected Hong Kong Disneyland will have a grand pyrotechnics display when the park opens on September 12th. It is also expected the new Disney park will have nightly firework spectaculars just like all its previous predecessors. However before any of this can happen, the park must pass a number of test to be monitored in Hong Kong by the Environment Protection Department this August. The Disney park had already held previous test runs on both May 6th and 7th. But the EPD says that the test results were determined inconclusive. This was because they say the firework displays happened during very mild wind conditions, and that instruments which tested suspended air particles had failed. Noise concerns will also be looked into this time around. After the test month is over and the EPD gives Hong Kong Disneyland the green light, nightly firework displays will take center stage over Penny’s Bay starting September 12th.
