Terry Wang was rewarded $3.6 million for injuries caused by a flying object that hit her in the head during a ride on the [/i]Villain.
Jurors struck a $3.6 million blow to Six Flags six years after a flying object struck a blow of another kind to a rider on one of the chain's former theme parks.

Terry Wang was riding the wooden coaster Villain at the former Six Flags Ohio (now Geauga Lake) with eyes closed and arms up when something struck her in the head. The impact left her with a broken nose and fractured skull as the train roared through the course at its top 59-mph speeds.

It is unknown whether the object was a cell phone or rock thrown by a passer-by, but testimony claimed that Six Flags had been warned by employees of guests hurling nearby rocks over a fence and onto the tracks.

Surgery required the removal of skull and bone in her brain, and her forehead is still in need of a reconstructive operation. She still complains of headaches and facial numbness.

Six Flags previously offered to settle for $200,000.
