Today, a man died when he fell from a water coaster at Lotte World, South Korea's most visited amusement park. Lotte World claims that is also gets visited by nearly eight million people a year. Officials are still searching for a cause for this accident.

The 28-year-old man died while riding the park's water coaster, Atlantis Adventure, an Aquatrax ride model from Intamin. On the water coaster, riders travel over ponds, getting wet, in single eight-seat cars.

Atlantis Adventure opened to the public in 2003. Its maximum height, at twenty-one meters, or seventy feet, and maximum speed of eighty kmh, or 50 mph, makes it the tallest and fastest coaster at Lotte World. Even though, it still is unknown how the man could have fallen from the ride, unless he stood up, which would be hard due to the restrictive lap bars the water coaster has.

Operators of Atlantis Adventure do not know where or how far this man fell. The man, was actually an employee at the park, who thought he'd enjoy his day off by visiting the park.
