The Park Gallery part of our site remains a cornerstone as to why COASTER-Net is unique providing in-depth information regarding ride reviews and history of the parks themselves. Over the past few years, with help from fellow staff members and enthusiasts, the amount of pictures on this site has risen to epic proportions. As a Park Gallery webmaster, I hope to deliver more information to enthusiasts and curious people with your help.

Enough sappy speech you'd expect to hear from a politician, on to the update! Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom is the first set of pictures uploaded to our site from affiliate website Theme Park Review's Midwest Trip, which was two weeks of great fun and the first set of hundreds of pictures to come soon in the Park Gallery.

Forty three pictures make up this update, which include Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom's buffet of thrill rides including Chang, Greezed Lightnin', and many others. This update shows off how beautiful Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom is as one of the nicest parks in the Six Flags chain.

A brief history lesson about the park, Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom was originally going to be a seasonal add-on park for the Kentucky State Fair when it opened in 1987, but closed just a year later before reopening under new ownership in 1990. Under its new owners, many world class thrill rides have since been added. In 1998, Six Flags bought the park and several more thrill rides and theming throughout the park, turning the park into one of Six Flags' best parks in the entire chain.

Again, folks, please go out to your home parks, take some pictures and submit them to us. Without you guys, the Park Gallery wouldn't really exist as a cornucopia of information regarding amusement parks around the world! Also, stay tuned for more Midwest trip pictures, which include parks such as Holiday World, Mount Olympus, Six Flags Great America, and of course Cedar Point!

Take me there!
