The Lost Disney Parks:Not all Disney parks are lucky enough to become a reality.

Each year millions of people travel to Disney parks worldwide and bask in the fun and sun of being in the Most Magical Place on Earth. Disneyland, The Magic Kingdom, and Epcot are all household names, among others. But what about WesCOT, Port Disney and Disney's America? To all but the most crazed Disney enthusiasts, these are unknown names and in one case, a made up word. However, at one time these names were the future of Disney's Parks & Resorts.

Unfortunately, they weren't as lucky as parks such as Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom and Disney's California Adventure. All three of the parks that were laid to rest pushed the boundries of what a theme park was, and would each have given the public a radical new view on what a theme park really was. While many have forgotten about these parks, some of their parts live on in Disney parks around the globe today. As coaster enthusiasts endure the brutal off-season, think of these parks, which are now in a permanent off-season.

Take me there!
